Cholate Pound Cake

Source : joyofbaking.com

Ingredients :
25 grams cocoa powder (I used cocoa)
3 tablespoons boiling water
3 large eggs, room temperature
1 1/2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract
125 grams sifted cake flour (I used setgita biru)
1 teaspoon baking powder (I did not use it)
1/4 teaspoon salt
175 grams granulated white sugar
185 grams unsalted butter, softened and cut into pieces (I used blue band margarine)

Directions :
1. Preheat oven to 177 degrees C and place rack in center of oven.
2. Butter or spray with a non stick vegetable spray, an loaf pan (I just give butter and flour in pan)
3. Line the bottom of the pan with parchment paper. (I did not do this step)
4. In a medium bowl mix the cocoa powder into the boiling water until smooth. Let cool to room temperature and then whisk in the eggs and vanilla extract.
5. In the bowl of your electric mixer, combine the dry ingredients (flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar) and mix on low speed for about 30 seconds or until blended.
6. Add the butter and half of the chocolate/egg mixture. Mix on low speed until the dry ingredients are moistened.
7. Increase the mixer speed to medium and beat for about one minute to aerate and develop the cake's structure.
8. Scrape down the sides of the bowl.
9. Gradually add the remaining egg mixture, in 2 additions, beating about 30 seconds after each addition to incorporate the egg and strengthen the cake's structure.
10. Scrape the batter into the prepared pan and smooth the top with an offset spatula or the back of a spoon. Bake for about 50 to 60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.

the result of the is delicious and perfect. the cake is soft and dense. and I think it can be made cup cake and filling with chocolate. I think I will try at next time
